Hey there DA Guys and Gal Pals!! Apologies for being out of
the loop for a minute. I've been working really hard lately.
I was deliberating for a while and decided that this site will
become by dedicated sketch blog now.
I already have Twitter as my Sketch blog but...
I'm working hard and have learned much. Other big name
artists are staring to notice.
Getting comments from big names like Bobbychiu
Sparth, and Tonniinfante! Its awesome. Recently one
of my favorite digtal artists I've been following for years,
Muju :iconmuju: followed me over there!!!
That's great news. I'm grateful and all... But now I feel pressured
only to post super polished work on there... That's what slowed me
down from publishing work here on DA some years ago.
I know that good work only comes by making tons of bad ones though.
The good portfolio will come after the tons of experiments. So along with that
reasoning and the file formats that DA allow being a bit more than twitter,
I'm coming back here. My experimental blog starting as of today!!
Pen Sketches galore soon. Got some beautiful painting experiments to throw
down. Aren't you guys lucky! Then... I guess the more polisehed ones can go
else where. But for now, I'm going to SketchDump here and learn So Blah :D

Ready To Start the Debut

Good Afternoon DA Guys and Gal Pals!!
Its been quite a while again. About a Month and some.
We've now gone on confinement among other things as you
guys would know. Lots has happened but this confinement has
actually been a pretty good thing for me actually.
Its accelerated my learning rate and focus by so much.
I'm now ready to start showing the fruits of all my labor.
I've cleared out the art gallery and moved everything to
give me a fresh space to throw work in..
Its actually been 8 years now since I decided to come on this
site and more than 7years since I took up the mantle of an artist
and been going at it. I've learned so so so so so much in the
past few months and weeks and am continuing to learn.
The Background Paintings, the Character compositions,
the many many skills that I've gained that weren't there
before... I'm humbled by it all and still in awe at how
quickly this progression has become.
After all these years, I'll be posting my Influence Map.
I'd like to start the transition off with that.

Journey Update: Gathering Speed

Good Afternoon DA!!
Its been a minute. I haven't been back here for almost a month now... My
bad. I'm still getting used to coming back here even if I've got nothing to post.
I'm in the middle of an amazing transition period and so I thought this is the perfect moment to
do a little update.
I've been working on lots of art grace of this project that I'm spearheading as of January 1st.
Its alot of work but I'm super excited to see all the progress that it will give me and for all of
the changes that it will make in my life.
I've been drawing tons and tons and tons and tons!! More than 200 drawings in January alone....
So much drawing that I damaged my right arm in one weekend from over use... And so I'm learning
to draw LEFT handed because I don't play that game! Don't play with me Life 
As for how that's going... I'm on day number 12 of drawing with my left hand and it was difficult to
tell the difference between sketches done by my left and right hand from day 4... So yea. Things are going
well.
Learnt a ton and my processes are allowing me to do much faster work and so I bought new materials
to facilitate this learning on the go. You'll get more art very soon! Probably spammed/flooded for a time
On the outside of that, while I was making up my mind to spearhead this project at the beginning of the year...
I learned of Quinni's illness.. Worsening. And seeing her condition really put life in perspective for me.
(I remember when she posted this... Its reallyold so it'll give you an idea how long I've followed her work).
my process work and studies at all. Lots of that came as a response to me acknowledging what a Bubble DA has become
(More on that another time) but most certainly from seeing how new fans treated Qinni. She posted a work on her insta which
symbolizes the pain she was going through 
A remake of this work...
Even though she'd had millions of followers... many of them had no idea them
had no idea she was suffering or in pain... I thought about it. Her life has been cut short. I thought about it more, she's got fans
oblivious to her situation... What would I be doing with my time if I knew I only had so much left to live is the question I was confronted with...
I'm still slightly bothered by the notion that she's now passed away and life has to go on as normal... Not a
week or entire day. Still, you'll live on in my heart.
Thank you Quinni. I really was looking forward to you re-doing your artworks over this year...
You are one of the main reasons I've decided starting this year to live life on my own terms.

The Journey To Exploring New Limits

GOOD MORNING DA!!!
Friends, Guys, Gal Pals, Internet! Hello!!!
How are all of you!!
Its Been quite a long time I know. Its been a good moment. I was supposed
to write this out and tell you guys about whats been going on Since the
16th... Its now New Year's Eve yea.. I've been busy
For those of you that Have no Idea what I'm on about, this is a response
to a Promise I've made to myself last year in December:
So!! What's the report!? Did I grow! Did I do it!? 
Just kidding.
Just kidding.I grew alot!! I only spent all year, one whole year on one thing though. Drawing.
Digital Drawing in Particular. So I've improved by leaps and bounds I'd say, (even though
major progress only started to show itself in April).
The Offical answer is Half way. I've done Drawings, lots of them. TONS of them. But no
color. No actual painting either. All year, black and white, pen and paper, inking, sketching
and nothing else.
The Result? I go from this

Then I'm happy, surprised, confused and a few months go by. After that, I studied more,
experimented more and then I did this
digitally. DIGITAL!! The lights came
digitally. DIGITAL!! The lights cameon!! I was like WHAT!! I can sketch like that on the computer now!?!? What!! What else can
I do?! From there, I went on for months on end studying, learning and absorbing information
from all over doing copies and master studies from bunches of media. From Movies, tv-shows,
pictures, artists, news papers, life, magazines, sketching every time I could. And I came to
a realization... I'd done about 450+ pieces of work in black and white and I've posted less
than 50 of those sketches and studies (Check out my twitter if you want to see)
And I actually didn't care that no one else saw the more than 400 pieces of work I did because I was
learning so much!!
Then, I had all kinds of mental and experimental breakthroughs from doing all those studies and work!

Digitally!!! If you'd told me that my Digital Sketch book someday would casually
have drawings like this in it...
I would have called you a fibber and never trust anything that you say. But Today... I'm still unsure
and kind of in shock when I look at it!! Incredible!! Then I turned my attention to "Manga" because with
that sketch, I thought I'd arrived! I was like "Dang me! If we could do that!!! We might as well become
a manga artist!! I had no idea manga was so hard!! Lol
Fun Adventure!!
We threw our hands at figuring out Black and white
Boom!! I was in love!! And so happy and proud to see my Character rendered like this in black and
white! I couldn't believe it was me!!! (Stared at many hours of comic pages on pinterest to figure
out how to do this) then we tried it on our own to see if it stuck and... weirdly enough this
happened:
bad learning process maybe!? XD Don't care. I was aware that something wasoff about it, the sketch was fine but the blacks were not. I knew that something could be fixed.
For every NEW artist that stumbles across this post listen: If you make something, and it looks wrong,
that is actually a GOOD thing!! You've made yourself aware of where you need to improve. Self-improvement
is worth its weight in Gold. A Few days later:
No likes, no shares, no views, But I was the happiest man in the world!! To see this random character
with no story and crooked eye patch, every single flaw was my own! I made this flawed black and
white Manga imitation with my own two hands!! The me who never thought he'd be able to draw
straight lines digitally, much less gorgeous sketches on his tiny Bamboo tablet... This little piece changed
everything!!
That brought me enough courage and pride and happiness to continue until we got to
The FIRST background I've EVER done EVER!! I hated doing BG's becauseI didn't know how to. I felt like I'd ended world war 9 by the time I did this little shaky thing
And that brings us to now with my favorite character and all the flaws of this drawing. All of
the things I can gladly learn from, iterate on, and improve throughout the New Year.
All of that progress from studying Black and White drawing only. Only doing sketches and really committing
to draw. That leaves us with the new Year, this year coming, I'll be focusing on Painting now. And we'll
see where we go from there. A Year of painting!? I'm looking forward to this!!

Hey Guys and Gals!!
Been a long time. I know its been a while.
Like a great while! I am still alive. I have
been gone for a while I know.
I have been traveling around and brainstorming
a bunch!!
There are a whole slew of new projects that I want
to throw down on. And I have been pulling
myself into so many directions.
Sadly I have come to acknowledge my limits on
creating things from this vast imagination of mine
(visually anyway)
So to this end I have finally decided to invest in
some art materials (courses, books, etc)
So I am continuing my journey with you guys but I
am taking a bit of a hiatus to level up at the moment.
I really! REALLY REALLY!!! Need to level up to execute properly
on these stories I am creating. So much beautiful worlds to paint,
dynamic character movements to understand, architecture and
perspective, color harmony, composition, a small bit of
cinematography and a whole heaping serving of FX painting to learn.
A few examples to give you guys a vague Idea of what I'm getting at:
Also been needing to learn how to do dynamic illustrations with multiple
characters in it. Have not ever drawn more than 2 persons in a seen I believe.

So that is what I am up to atm. (PS. I love Smash Bros!! Play too much games

)Endless amounts of learning aside, that is still no excuse to not try.
It is easier to learn something after trying it. Because you can analyze
your thing, find out what didn't work, look at what you believe its missing,
and expand on it. It is impossible to expand on a project you never start.
Stan Lee is gone but his legacy as a creator lives on!!
